Tracy-Lynn Chernaske

Tracy-Lynn has had a love affair with all visual aspects of theatre for over 15 years which started in high school and continued through Capilano University (2007). Her main career over the last 13 years was as a freelance Scenic Artist, during which she was the resident Scenic Painter and Set Decorator at Metro Theatre for the last 10 years.

 

Outside of Metro, Tracy-Lynn has worked for theatre groups all over the lower mainland, including Fighting Chance Productions, Green Thumb Theatre and most recently the Kay Meek for their Summer Youth Conservatory. Recent highlights include working for Delta Youth Theatre has Head Scenic Painter. Her favorite job was for "Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune" when she was asked to paint a 32′ realistic moon across a stage floor.

 

Flirtations with the film and the art industries are interspersed throughout her career. These have led her to photography, body painting, murals and working with acrylics. You also may seen her set decor work with big Canadian names such as K-os and Michael Buble.
